SolarBank to Develop 5.4 MW Solar Project in Sunny New York
DENVER, Colo., Sep 23, 2024 (247marketnews.com)- SolarBank Corporation (NASDAQ: SUUN) stated that it plans on developing a 5.4 MW DC ground-mount solar power project in Broome County, New York.
The development site, known as the Boyle Project, has been secured and SolarBank applied for interconnection approval.
The Boyle Project is a key addition to SolarBank’s growing community solar portfolio and is expected to deliver green energy to over 640 homes, and expands the Company’s development pipeline, which now exceeds one gigawatt.
The Project is expected to be a dual use of land for solar energy production and agriculture, and eligible for incentives under the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (“NYSERDA”) NY-Sun Program.
