DENVER, Colo., Nov 20, 2024 (247marketnews.com)- Stocks to watch; Siyata Mobile (NASDAQ: SYTA), PainReform (NASDAQ: PRFX), Quantum-Si (NASDAQ: QSI), NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), Safe Pro (NASDAQ: SPAI), and Quantum Computing (NASDAQ: QUBT)

Siyata Mobile (NASDAQ: SYTA) and PainReform (NASDAQ: PRFX) are on short squeeze watch, after both dropped following positive news.

Siyata Mobile (NASDAQ: SYTA) reported more than tripling third quarter 2024 revenue and set a new Company quarterly revenue record of $5.9 million, a 218%, or over $4 million, year-over-year increase and a 210%, or $4.0 million, quarter-over-quarter increase.

Siyata traded over 5.9 million shares, which is greater than Siyata’s reported outstanding shares, indicating that the shorts are very busy in Siyata’s market and that there may be some trades that haven’t yet settled, so look for a potential squeeze rebound.

Marc Seelenfreund, Siyata’s CEO, stated, “We are also extremely excited with our sales outlook going forward as we are now seeing tangible, rapid adoption of our unique PTT product portfolio across our various sales channels.  We believe that we have a very exciting 5G product portfolio planned to launch in 2025 which will position us as the leading PTT handset provider on a global level.  We announced recently that T-Mobile is the first wireless carrier that will be launching part of the portfolio and will be releasing details of the innovative devices over the coming months.  We are optimistic that more wireless carriers will follow suit.”

Siyata’s strategy was to place Siyata’s PTT devices into the top carriers, including AT&T (NYSE: T), Verizon (NYSE: VZ), and T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS), so that the Company can benefit from potential cobranding deals, and the results are reflected in the third quarter results.

PainReform (NASDAQ: PRFX) announced that it received partial topline data from Lotus Clinical Research, its contract research organization (CRO), for the Phase 3 clinical trial evaluating PRF-110 in post-surgical pain management of patients undergoing bunionectomy, which preliminary analysis indicates that “PRF-110 demonstrated statistically significant superiority over placebo in reducing pain during the first 48 hours following surgery. These findings underscore PRF-110’s potential to provide effective pain relief during the critical early postoperative period.”

Ehud Geller, PainReform’s Chairman and interim CEO, commented, “We are cautiously encouraged by the statistically significant pain reduction observed in the initial 48 hours, highlighting PRF-110’s promise as an effective solution for post-surgical pain.

“While we are addressing the data issues concerning the subsequent 24-hour period, we plan on providing updates as our analysis progresses and we gain a clearer understanding of PRF-110’s efficacy across the full study follow-up period.”

Quantum-Si (NASDAQ: QSI) announced that it’s collaborating with NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA)  to develop Proteus, NVIDIA’s new proteomics platform, and advance Quantum-Si’s core amino acid binders and aminopeptidases technologies using NVIDIA AI and accelerated computing.

The collaboration’s goals are to significantly enhance data processing speeds to handle the increased data volume from Proteus and to develop a robust data processing system that will keep pace with Quantum-Si’s rapidly evolving technology advancements, generating single-molecule protein insights to deepen our understanding of the proteome and develop innovative solutions through research, drug discovery, and healthcare AI.

John Vieceli, Ph.D., Quantum-Si’s Chief Product Officer, commented, “We are thrilled to collaborate with NVIDIA to make single-molecule proteomics more accessible to researchers. We have been leveraging AI protein structure prediction tools with NVIDIA BioNeMo, both in the cloud and on-premises to design new and improved biomolecules. Now, we are excited to apply NVIDIA technology for downstream data processing and interpretation applications for Proteus.”

George Vacek, NVIDIA’s Global Head of Genomics Alliances, stated, “Sequencing proteins to derive insights requires advanced processing capabilities that can handle vast volumes of data.

“Applying NVIDIA technology for accelerated computing and AI, Quantum-Si’s platform for proteomics and multi-omics can make a significant impact on healthcare and life sciences AI and research.”

Safe Pro (NASDAQ: SPAI) reported that it was awarded its first United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) patent, US Patent No. 12,146,729, entitled Systems and Methods for Detecting and Identifying Explosives, for its SpotlightAI drone image analysis and reporting software platform technology that identifies, locates and maps explosives.

Dan Erdberg, Safe Pro’s Chairman and CEO, commented, “To date, our patented SpotlightAI technology has helped locate over 10,000 landmines and other explosives in Ukraine in support of humanitarian, agricultural and reconstruction efforts. Our goal now is to further leverage our newly protected IP as we seek to collaborate with a broadened array of potential new partners and customers in commercial, humanitarian and national defense markets where our technology can support their critical missions.”

Quantum Computing (NASDAQ: QUBT) received its second for its thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) photonic chip foundry order from the University of Texas at Austin, which will support the research efforts of the University’s RF Acoustic Microsystem Group and is part of the QCi Foundry’s pilot launch program, expected to be fulfilled in the first quarter of 2025.

Dr. William McGann, QCi’s CEO, stated, “This strategic collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin underscores the expanding capabilities and commercial viability of the QCi Foundry, which has been designed to meet the increasing demand for signal processing, sensing, and computing applications as well as advanced acoustic systems for volume deployment.

“We are excited to support the University’s innovative research, and this collaboration further highlights the growing recognition of TFLN as a critical driver in the future of telecom, datacom, and quantum markets.”

The move is designed to empower the University’s advance chip-scale acoustic and cross-domain microsystems, by employing the QCi Foundry scalable industrial processes, as QCi will leverage its standard TFLN processing recipes to facilitate a custom fabrication run tailored to the needs of the University’s research group.
