Our day started by covering Marker Therapeutics (NASDAQ:MRKR), which announced a clinical update on its Phase 1 APOLLO study investigating MT-601, for lymphoma patients, when it was trading at $3.59, up $0.38 (+11.93%), on 149K shares traded.
It popped to hit a premarket high of $5.53, but pulled back to open the regular trading session at $3.31. Aside from slight dip at the open and a few slips during the day, it traded higher throughout the session, hitting $4.85 and closing at $4.71, up $1.5027 (+46.85%), on 2.62M shares traded.
Poseida Therapeutics (NASDAQ:PSTX) also reported Phase 1 results, which we covered when it was trading at $3.33, up $0.17 (+5.38%), on 393K shares traded. It traded well in the premarket, but fell apart after hitting $4.20 during the regular session.
Assure Holdings (NASDAQ:IONM) was a fast riser that we covered when it was trading at $0.59, up $0.24 (+67.76%), on 24.1M shares traded. Despite a trading halt, it hit $0.9611 about 15 minutes later, and a few more halts brough it back to the 60-cent level 20 minutes after that.
Jet AI’s (NASDAQ:JTAI) was an easier trade, as we covered its move when it was trading at $1.92, up $0.26 (+15.66%), on 3M shares. It hit a $3.80 high before pulling back to close at $3.02, up $1.4086 (+87.41%), on 85.48M shares traded.
NextPlay Technologies (NASDAQ:NXTP) was the odd man out in our morning coverage, which turned out to be a mistake because rather than cover it when it was at 58-cents this morning, we included it in our midday update when it was trading at $1.02, up $0.60 (+141.61%), on 45M shares traded. Ten minutes later it hit $1.33. Better late than never.
